YOGI LOOK BOOK

Project of the Month Winner

DECEMBER 2017

Manchester-based agency Laced Creative were looking for the perfect print partner to produce a unique look book for their client YOGI, a luxury footwear brand.

Brief

Our client wanted to replicate the rustic charm of this very traditional, hand-made brand in print, creating a look book that replicated the on-product brand positioning.

Action

We took our client’s brief and worked it into something that was both practical and beautiful, presenting a number of options including either a thread-sewn or perfect-bound spine to keep it durable.

The cover became a very pure, uncluttered spot UV on the brown Kraft board to highlight the minimalism and cleanness of the brand. It was also essential to give a ‘wet footprint’ effect, which the spot UV varnish does perfectly.

This was complemented by the perfect thickness and ruggedness of our choice of uncoated paper for the text pages.
