Project of the Month Winner

APRIL 2018

Our pick for this month’s award-winning project is an exquisite welcome pack for Duesday, a payment app developed by CFT Group in Cornwall.

Brief

Our client wanted to create a welcome pack to boost their brand image during the sign-up process.

Action

We worked with the CFT marketing team to help them explore the options for luxury direct-mail wallets. Firstly, we whittled down the options for the material from the exquisite GF Smith Embossed range. Then we created the die-cutting layout and mechanism for the wallet, helped our client choose the perfect Pantone colour and created a pre-production dummy before going to print alongside a letter and die-cut ‘smartphone’ shaped insert. We printed a double-hit Pantone 7408 to achieve a nice strong, vibrant colour that was smooth despite the texture of the material.

Result

Josh and his team showed a real taste for bold, brilliant creativity and gave us an easy task to choose this month’s Project of the Month Award Winner! The finish is an intriguing blend of vibrant colour and irresistible texture and we just love it.
