Gable Box Printing for Food Packaging

Add a further visual appeal to other styles of box with custom printed gable top boxes. Their neat tuck-flap system keeps everything safe and secure. The gable top tapers in to form a point and helps the packaging to stand out on-shelf.

All of our gable top boxes are fully customised to fit your food or drinks products. We can also design the print-ready artwork for you.

What is Gable Top Packaging?

Gable top boxes have a tapered top which creates a triangular shape which can be sealed with a sticker, tuck-flap, postal-lock or other closure mechanism.

Gable top cartons can be combined with other box styles such as crash-lock and tuck-end to create a suitable base to keep your packaging sturdy whilst in transit and on-shelf.

About Our Gable Top Boxes

Our custom printed gable boxes come in a range of board weights and finishes including gloss, matt and uncoated to suit your product and brand messaging. We also have a range of speciality papers and boards including Kraft, metallic, GF Smith and many more for luxury packaging.

Gable top boxes are pre-glued on the side seam (and on the base for crash-lock style) and packed flat for easy storage, in sizes customised to fit your products.

Our Carbon Balanced Print status means that all your packaging produced through us has had its entire carbon footprint offset by our investment in the World Land Trust. For more information about how this benefits you, click here.

Our operational flow is perfectly suited to lower runs from 1,000 up to 250,000 with great flexibility on litho printing.

Can I customise my printed gable box packaging?

Yes! We print everything bespoke to fit your branding style and dimension requirements. This includes die-cutting, folding, gluing, part- and full-assembly.

Can you help me design my gable boxes ready for printing?

Yes, we can. We have a design studio in-house with a team of creatives to create your brand from scratch, or design your packaging to fit your existing product portfolio. Our design team are highly skilled in both the creative and technical aspect of packaging design so that it not only looks good but is cost-effective to produce.

Do you have a minimum quantity for gable top box printing?

We can print as low as 1,000 units, up to hundreds of thousands. We can also print as few as 250 per SKU for multiple orders. All orders are printed litho unless specifically requested for digital printing. Talk to our team to find out the best and most cost-effective printing options.

Can you help me with luxury packaging?

Yes! We are experienced in luxury packaging, and can produce in a range of beautiful substrates. Printing embellishments including foiling, spot UV varnish, embossing and laminations are the best way to lift your luxury packaging.

Can you print sustainable food packaging?

Yes! We are a BRC and Carbon Balanced certified printing company and we use vegetable-based, low-odour food-grade inks. We can help you ensure your packaging is fully recyclable and compostable too.

Can you produce food-safe packaging?

Yes! We are a BRC (British Retail Consortium) accredited. This is an independent food safety accreditation that proves that high food safety standards are in place so food companies are safe to supply to supermarkets and large organisations. Therefore, you can have peace of mind that your food packaging fits the right criteria for food safety.
